HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: The Domiabra Methodist 2 Basic School was established in September 2002 by the Methodist Church of Ghana. The school emanated from the Methodist A stream when the then headteacher Mr Paul Coffie realized the rapid increasing number of students in his school. He saw the need to generate a new stream which has now become Domiabra Methodist 2 Basic. The school was just primary without KG and JHS until 2015 and was headed by Mr Emmanuel Ghann of blessed memory and was feeding the A stream with JHS pupils. In 2016 the headteacher who succeeded Mr Emmanuel Ghann saw the need to generate JHS so in 2017 the first batch of the school wrote the BECE with 56% pass. Mrs Lydia Ofosuhene, the current head teacher together with the efforts of her hardworking staff has helped improve the academic performance of the school. The year 2023 was a great and fantastic year which saw the BECE performance propelled to 92%. We’re currently ranked 2nd in the DOMIABRA CIRCUIT which consist of seven(7) Basic Schools. We’re still aiming higher because with God, all things are possible .
